A Message In The Rainbow 무지개에서 찾은 메세지

Gen 9:16 "And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth."
창 9:16 "무지개가 구름 사이에 있으리니 내가 그것을 보고 [하나님]과 땅 위에 있는 모든 육체의 살아 있는 모든 창조물 사이에 맺은 영존하는 언약을 기억하리라."

God said He would look down upon the bow/rainbow. From top to bottom, the colors of the rainbow are: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Violet. We know the rainbow symbolizes God's promise not to destroy the earth by flooding it again. 
However, let's look at the significance of the order that the colors are in and see a message pertaining to a victorious Christian life. 
하나님께서는 내가 저 아래 무지개를 내려다 보겠노라 말씀하셨습니다. 위로부터 아래로, 무지개는 빨, 주, 노, 초, 파, 그리고 보라색을 띄고 있습니다. 우리는 이 무지개가 하나님께서 다시는 물로 땅을 멸망하지 않으시리라는 그분의 약속을 상징하는 것을 알고 있습니다. 
무지개의 언약과 더불어 이 무지개의 색들이 우리가 하나님의 약속 안에서 어떻게 승리하는 그리스도인으로 살아갈 수 있는지에 대한 메세지를 던져주는지 보고자 합니다.

Red: is first. It is the color of blood; we need the Blood of Jesus Christ to cleanse us from our sins. 
빨강은 가장 첫번째 색입니다. 빨강은 피의 색입니다. 우리는 우리의 죄를 씻음받기 위해 예수님의 보혈(피)가 필요합니다.

1 John 1:7 "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin."
요일 1:7 "그러나 그분께서 빛 가운데 계신 것 같이 만일 우리가 빛 가운데 걸으면 우리가 서로 교제하고 또 그분의 [아들] 예수 그리스도의 피가 모든 죄에서 우리를 깨끗하게 하느니라."

Orange: is second. It is the color of fire. We need the fire of the Holy Ghost baptism which gives us power to be a witness for Jesus.
주황은 두번째 색입니다. 이것은 불의 색과 같습니다. 우리는 예수님을 증거하는 삶을 살아갈 수 있게 하시는 힘을 주시는 성령님의 불의 침례가 필요합니다.

Mat 3:11 "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:"
마 3:11 "참으로 나는 회개에 이르도록 너희에게 물로 침례를 주거니와 내 뒤에 오시는 분은 나보다 능력이 더 있으시매 나는 그분의 신발을 나를 자격도 없노라. 그분께서는 너희에게 [성령]님으로 침례를 주시고 불로 침례를 주시리니"

Yellow: is third. It represents the golden promises found in God's Word that we learn to trust in and walk by. 
노랑은 세번째 색입니다. 이것은 하나님의 말씀 속에서 우리가 찾을 수 있는 황금과도 같은 언약(약속)으로 우리는 이 언약을 믿고 이 약속 안에서 걷는 것을 배웁니다.

II Peter 1:4 "Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust."
벧후 1:4 "그것들로 말미암아 지극히 크고 보배로운 약속들이 우리에게 주어졌나니 이것은 너희가 이 약속들을 힘입어 정욕으로 인해 세상에 있게 된 썩을 것을 피하여 하나님의 본성에 참여하는 자가 되게 하려 함이니라."

Green: is next. It represents the grass that sheep rest in and enjoy true peace; a true peace that only comes from Jesus being our Shepherd.
다음은 초록색입니다. 이것은 양들이 쉬고 평안을 즐기는 풀밭(초원)을 상징합니다. 징전한 평안은 바로 우리의 목자되시는 예수님을 통해서만 얻을 수 있습니다.

Psalm 23:2 "He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters."
시편 23:3 "그분께서 나를 푸른 풀밭에 누이시며 잔잔한 물가로 인도하시고"

Blue: is next. It is the color of water. We should be water baptized after we've believed upon Jesus. This shows that we have consciously chosen to die to our old life of sin and live unto God s a new creature in Jesus.
다음은 파랑입니다. 이것은 물의 색입니다. 우리는 예수님을 믿은 다음 물 침례를 받아야 합니다. 물 침례를 받는 것은 내가 과거의 나의 죄된 삶에 대해 죽고, 예수님 안에서 새로운 창조물로 하나님께 살 것을 선택했다는 것을 보여주는 상징입니다.

We see this in Acts 8:36-38
36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?
37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.
우리는 사도생전 8:36-38을 이것을 통해 볼 수 있습니다.
36. 그들이 계속해서 길을 가다가 물 있는 곳에 이르매 내시가 이르되, 보라, 여기에 물이 있으니 무엇이 내가 침례 받는 것을 방해하리요? 하매
37. 빌립이 이르되, 만일 그대가 마음을 다하여 믿으면 받을 수 있느니라, 하니 내시가 응답하여 이르되, 예수 그리스도께서 [하나님]의 [아들]이심을 내가 믿노라, 하니라.
38. 그가 명령하여 병거를 멈추게 한 뒤 빌립과 내시가 둘 다 물 속으로 내려가니 빌립이 내시에게 침례를 주니라.

Violet: is last. It represents royalty. Through faith in Jesus, we become a part of the family of God; Jesus Chrirst being the King of kings.
보라색은 마지막 색입니다. 이것은 존엄(존귀,왕족)을 상징합니다. 예수님을 믿음을 통해, 우리는 하나님의 가족의 구성원이 됩니다. 그리고 예수님은 우리의 왕중의 왕이 되십니다. 

I Peter 2:9 "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;"
벧전 2:9 "그러나 너희는 선정된 세대요 왕가의 제사장이요 거룩한 민족이요 특별한 백성이니 이것은 너희를 어둠에서 불러내어 자신의 놀라운 빛으로 들어가게 하신 분께 대한 찬양을 너희가 전하게 하려 하심이라."
